SONADOR RESEARCH GROUP

The Soñador is our main research ship. Onboard are 2 research submarines, ROV and camera/dive boat. An additional landing craft ship takes supplies and construction supplies for placement in the new reef. This project creates 190 new jobs.

We have an agreement with UAS to assist us with operating the oceanographic and marine biology research onboard and to provide scientists for Conservation Pride.

This ship has complete dive services, a moon pool, services and housing for 85 people and services for the two submarines and ROV.

Its primary function is to build and provide continuing research for the new 12-mile Federal Reserve Artificial Reef Project. This will entail decomtaminating and sinking old ships and planes for marine habitat, placing porous rock and molded concrete in specified areas, construction of an underwater city, planting of grasses and kelp and scientific monitoring of the reef's growth. The reef will be a great addition to Mazatlan for divers, will create a habitat for marine life to return to the shoreline and create a fantastic living laboratory for generations of future scientists. The reef will begin new growth almost immediately and reach 60% total growth in 4 years.

Imagine having an underwater environment like this return to Mazatlan within four years.

This will be an ongoing scientific experiment for the University of Sinaloa and all international scientists.

This will be a great underwater adventure for new and returning tourists and local residents.

This will bring the diving industry back to Mazatlan.

Fish and aquatic life will return in abundance to feed and hide around these reefs.

Deteriorating boats will become an underwater asset instead of a harbor eyesore.

We have applied to create a protected Federal Reserve around the artificial reef to ensure its growth as a protected fishery.

CONSERVATION PRIDE PROJECT

Conservation Pride Indoor Shrimp Aquaculture and Hydroponic Farm: Construction of an indoor shrimp and produce farm on 500 acres near Mazatlan. This project, when completed, will have a minimum daily production of 100,000 pounds of shrimp and 100,000 pounds of produce. This project is 100% green. Everything is recycled on this farm including shrimp waste, algae, water, waste from processing and garbage. The farm is operated with solar and wind power with backup generators. Everything possible is converted into usable energy. We also make our own saltwater to maintain perfect salinity for the shrimp, desalinate it for produce growing and then turning it back into usable saltwater for shrimp growth. This allows us to less than 5% of available fresh water sources daily. Creates over 2,500 new jobs.

The processing building processes shrimp and produce for shipment and recycles processing waste and fish waste from the Fishermen’s Wharf into organic shrimp food supplement. This would be the largest indoor shrimp aquaculture and hydroponic farm in the world. The shrimp will be sold under the trademark Conservation Pride. This trademark guarantees the product is organic, actual source information of product and date of harvest. Shrimp are harvested using a water vacuum system and harvested shrimp will be processed on site, then shipped to market the same day of harvest. As produce is harvested, a new seedling is planted. Produce is also harvested and shipped the same day. This a total of 18,250 tons of shrimp and 18,250 tons of produce production per year which is 2 times the annual shrimp harvest from the Sea of Cortez. There are no by-catch issues or ocean floor destruction issues. It also has its own landing strip for air freight shipments for post larvae and live sales. This project is good for the economy and good for Mazatlan’s promotion of ocean and fishery sustainability.

When you buy Conservation Pride products, you are guaranteed to be buying the absolute best and freshest seafood and produce product in the world.

We will have our own hatcheries, primary nurseries and growout tanks operated in conjunction with UAS scientists, to initially hatch the eggs and bring the shrimp larvae to size to be transferred to the final nursery and growing facility. The shrimp are managed by scientists every step of the way, including through harvest, to ensure the highest quality.

WHALE ISLAND AMUSEMENT PARK

Construction of this park is on 500 acres near Mazatlan. This project, when completed, will be the largest amusement park in Mexico. It will have over 56 new high adrenaline rides, kiddy rides, concessions, games, 4 hotels, dolphin moat, food courts, nightly fireworks display, laser show, outdoor concert area, monorail, all electric vehicles and can accommodate 20,000 visitors daily. The project will use renewable solar and wind energy, recyclable sewage treatment plant, energy producing garbage incinerator and solar and wind lighting. This project is 100% green and uses recycled materials during construction. Everything is recycled within this park. Creates over 4,000 new jobs.

When your family visits Whale Island, you are guaranteed to have the time of your life!
